The Chicago Bears have agreed to terms on a two-year contact with veteran offensive lineman Bradley Sowell, the team announced Monday.
Sowell played all 16 games for the Bears last season with two starts at guard in Weeks 16 and 17 vs. Cleveland and at Minnesota. Sowell has 23 career NFL starts, including 12 at tackle with the Arizona Cardinals in 2013 and nine at tackle for the Seattle Seahawks in 2016.
Sowell will be entering his seventh season in the NFL, projecting mostly as a backup tackle. He was originally signed by the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi in 2012.
